About Lake Erie Bite

Lake Erie Bite is a fast, free, mobile-friendly site for anglers chasing walleye and yellow perch in Ohio's waters of Lake Erie. We cover walleye and perch equally, from Port Clinton and the islands to Conneaut.

How we handle data

• Live conditions come straight from public feeds: NOAA's National Data Buoy Center (including buoys run by LimnoTech and the Cleveland Water Alliance), NOAA CO-OPS water level gauges, and National Weather Service forecasts and alerts.
• Each reading shows its station and observation time. Readings older than 3 hours are marked stale. We never fill gaps with estimates.
• Regulations link to the official ODNR and Ohio Administrative Code sources.
• Weekly reports are our own summaries of other people's reports, always credited and linked.
